About Me

As you can see I am passionate about music, it is a huge part of my life and I love finding new bands before they make it mainstream (I love the fact that I saw Florence and the Machine before they even released any mainstream singles)

I am a Journalism graduate from University of the Creative Arts at Farnham and as you can probably tell my other passion in life is writing  (I had my first article published when I was 8 years old)

I love listening to live and pre recorded music, although there is nothing better than watching a band or singer perform in a small, intimate venue. My other hobbies include; reading, horse riding and travelling.

Don’t forget to leave me some feedback and if you are singer or in a band email lizhewett@undiscoveredmusic.co.uk with some mp3s and I will have a listen and perhaps feature you on here!

    1. Hi Gustavo,

Thanks for the comment if you want to email me over some mp3s to lizhewett@undiscoveredmusic.co.uk and I would be more than happy to have a listen and see what I can do about featuring you on my show. If you know of any more artists/bands that fancy some airplay then please do not hesitate to pass on my details to them.

  1. Hi, I’ve been writing music for a while now, and have some of my music on YouTube. Can I submit some of my songs? My computers too slow to send mp3’s so can I send you the link to my songs?

  2. Hi there,

I recently created a site dedicated to undiscovered music called stereofind.com and would love if contributed to it. I really want to promote great artists who haven’t had their break yet. Thanks!

  3. Hi Liz,
I just recently got turned on to Scarlett Parade and agree with you completely about their massive talent. What a great sound they have, I’m an instant fan.

I’d love to introduce you to another new album called The Folk Sinner that was just released last month by a Canadian band called Lee Harvey Osmond (fronted by Tom Wilson, a legendary voice in the roots/folk/americana scene over here.) Here’s a link below to their site where you can stream music (right hand column) – have a listen specifically to tracks “Break Your Body” and “Oh Linda”, I know you’ll be blown away – and might even feature them on your blog/show?

  4. Hi Liz,

Been out scouting around for cool music on this rainy thursday Boston night. Found your site and am really digging it!

The Adam Geraghty video is awesome! I love hearing from young artists that are going their own direction and stepping outside the box.

Anyway, thanks for improving my night. This was rad!

If you feel like checking out some music, the above is my band and here’s a link to my personal soundcloud and some more colorful tunes.

    Keep Rockin Liz!

    1. Thanks, I am going to be refurbishing the site and expanding it a bit more when I get a chance but really appreciate the feedback and i will certainly have a listen your music very soon. Liz x

  5. I started a youtube channel that’s goal is the same as yours. I was wondering if we could maybe form a partnership. I have a video (and more to come) of others who are performing original songs and I feel that if you show some of the videos I post and promote my channel and I do the same for you on my youtube videos then we could both benefit! Check out my channel and let me know what you think.

    P.S. What is your email?
